Seamill adds a bespoke Function Kitchen and Bar to it’s new Wedding Venue which takes advantage of its magnificent views over the River Clyde and beyond. R H Morton invited back to design and fit out these new facilities.
During the late 1990s R H Morton undertook the complete main kitchen replacement following a major fire at this well known Ayrshire hotel. Much has been added to and invested in by the Sweeney family in the intervening years. R H Morton were invited back to put the kitchen into the Orangery Restaurant which was located to take advantage of the wonderful situation and scenery.
Now a new Wedding and Event function suite has been built and once again Morton’s worked closely with the management to meet their very exacting requirements on the new Bar and Function Kitchen. With a really professional bar team, front service was at the top of their list with fonts built into the under-bar to leave clean lines on the bar top. The entire bar interior was designed and built by R H Morton to minimise joints and keep hygiene to the forefront of the specification.
It looks superb and the Osborne Bottle Coolers have access from both the front and rear doors which open into the chilled beer cellar and can therefore be stocked from the back. This ensures stock is turned efficiently and comes into the coolers already chilled, with the coolers themselves having to work less to keep to temperature and when it is very busy, every recently stocked bottle is chilled.
With customer loyalty and supplier commitment once again going back over twenty years, this was another example of R H Morton achievement and total customer satisfaction.
