The Talbot Association had long been a customer of R H Morton when Cassiltoun HA bought the 1970s care home property from Glasgow City Council in March 2009 and provides 24-hour care for long-term homeless men aged 60 plus.
With an ethos of cooking from scratch and baking for the 40 or so residents, the brief was for a nice big space for the kitchen and associated areas: with a Falcon cooking suite and R H Morton manufactured spacious preparation island with crockery storage, hot and cold servery with Sapphire Bain Marie, separate dishwash area and maximised worksurface throughout the kitchen.
RH Morton designed and manufactured the ventilation canopy and their own staff installed and commissioned the entire kitchen. The staff from the Talbot Association showed great attention to detail and it is by working together in this way with RH Mortin that leads to the best possible outcome and a long-term relationship.
