When Nick Nairn opened his first Cookery School in the grounds of his home on Lake of Monteith, R H Morton designed and manufactured the individual workstations, demonstration counter and commercial back kitchen, and this operation has been one of the most renowned Cookery teaching venues in the UK.

Some 12 years later, a new and stunning facility has been created in Aberdeen. The pictures speak for themselves and Mortons were once again invited to work with the team to produce an outstanding result. The old church property was not the easiest to access with the main Cookery School on the first floor, but a new “speedy course” teaching area on the ground floor with a Cook Shop.

Accommodating students in wheelchairs or those needing adjustable height to work at was something R H Morton was only too able to help with. As marine galley manufacturers, they have developed a range of height adjustable legs for hobs, sinks and certain types of cooking equipment and refrigeration to meet the NORSOK requirements of the North Sea Oil & Gas Industry.
