As well as Manufacturing from beginning to end in their own Works, R H Morton join with chosen partners who specialise in certain sectors. A design can encompass Morton’s bespoke fabrication with a stunning contemporary finish by one of our partners. The combination of the two provides greater flexibility for the style of the Servery Counter brief.

This is a marine leisure centre where R H Morton Designed and Project Managed the entire self service area and installed the counter by QED whilst supplying all the fabrication and other equipment to complete a stunning looking facility.

 

Maximize your Sales with Good Displays at the Right Temperatures

Most Self Service Counters provide hot, cold and ambient sections, perhaps with soup stations, a carvery, ice cream display or facility to make sandwiches to order. All day food operations need good keeping qualities and in the 1970s R H Morton developed a Vapour Heated Bain Marie section which has gone onto Offshore Platforms, into Universities, on Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries and a variety of other hot food operations needing long periods of service. Manufactured with a back up system, in the event of an element failing, there is a changeover switch which ensures that service is kept going without any loss of revenue.

The Upright Display Cabinets make good use of floor space if they can be fitted against a wall, and provide a “Grab n’Go” option for small spaces or just good bottle merchandising.  With some really slimline models on the market, every outlet can maximise its sale of chilled food and drink with the clever use of great looking marketing cabinets.

Recent contracts undertaken by R H Morton to design and install new staff restaurant facilities have included both The Gleneagles Hotel and Linn Products (manufacturers of some of the world’s best Hi Fi technology)  where the high standards of  service and design are reflected  in their investment in the food provision for their own personnel.

Good quality displays of healthy and appetizing looking food are of the essence. A clean and modern finish with refrigerated, ambient and hot food on show is a regular Morton installation and we are particularly proud of these two examples.
